We are John Redfield and Karen March, a happily married couple who enjoy life and music. We feel especially blessed when given opportunities to share our love of music and song with others. Individually we have performed as entertainers for over 30 years. John has worked with many outstanding performers including Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, Bobby Vinton, Red Skelton, Joan Rivers and Steve Allen. Karen has performed for such celebrities as Frank Sinatra, Burt Bacharach and Liza Minnelli, as well as ambassadors, U.S. Presidents and dignitaries around the world, including a performance for Mikhail Gorbachev and the elite Politburo in the Kremlin in Moscow.

Even before our marriage in 1989 to this day, we have always cherished performing together. The rich companionship we enjoy personally as well as professionally led us to choose the name “Side by Side”. We like to tell people that we are “Side by Side” on stage, as well as in life.

Our years together have included public and personal performances for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Chicago Cubs announcer Harry Caray, the Postmaster General of Atlanta, Michael Feinstein, and Charlie Daniels, to name a few. From New York to Las Vegas to Miami, we have worked for cruise ships, cabarets, country club dances, hotels, restaurants and conventions, as well as countless weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, anniversaries—celebrations of every kind. We also celebrate our joy in life through musical performances for church services and concerts.

After moving to Orlando from Chicago in 1997, we began an extended engagement at the Hotel Royal Plaza in Walt Disney World. In April and May 2001, we entertained for the ribbon-cutting and Grand Opening ceremonies of the Westin Grand Bohemian, and appeared there on a weekly basis for nearly a year. Since that time, we have appeared consistently in several Orlando-area restaurants and hotels, including a year performing at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort near Disney.

We are happy to provide larger ensembles at our clients’ requests. We have the pleasure of playing with many talented musicians in Florida, and will work with you to customize the music you desire for your event.
